Is it just me or is it pretty ironic that the mailscanner wiki, is not
protected against spammers.

Its really not hard to protect it, and rather less complex than
filtering emails for spam...

Just my 10p worth.

Won't help sp much. I think it should not be a problem to put all newly
registered users in a group that cannot do anything. There won't be that
many new enthusiasts who want to add real content. Just have them mail
someone for elevation.

This will be addressed with the new website. I am finishing up development
for the release of a user portal for Mailborder. Once that is complete I am
going to start to revamp the MailScanner website and transfer the content.
